Darvall Cozy Heated Circuits
Recent research shows that dogs and cats typically lose 1oC core body temperature before anaesthesia commences.
In the first 15 to 30 minutes following induction there is a rapid critical temperature loss of between 2-4oC, which is often the clip and prep time. Darvall’s heated smooth wall breathing circuits are an innovative solution to this critical heat loss by safely delivering warmed inspired gases to the patient immediately from the first breath after intubation.
• Heating element embedded in the smooth walled tubing ribbing
• Dual sensors in Y-piece and oesophageal tube monitor temperature, ensuring patient safety
• Deliver warm air inspired gas from the moment of intubation
• For 2kg to 80kg use with Darvall’s Stingray absorber; for 0-2kg early spey/neuters use with Darvall’s new low-flow Lack circuit
• Can be used with all circle systems
