The Jamshidi name has been synonymous with proven reliability and superior results in bone marrow biopsy for many years. VETisco offer a range of Jamshidi-type needles offering the same proven design but at a cost effective price. The two piece T-handle is designed to facilitate easy handling and improved grip, to aid insertion of the needle. Once the needle is positioned where it needs to be, withdraw the stylet and aspirate the sample. If no sample is aspirated, replace the stylet and re-position before repeating the process. Available in disposable/single use and in stainless steel, the latter of which can be autoclaved and re-used.
